Summary

Includes required Hazard Communications updates from 2013. With this update, you will also have access to documents that include the Hazard Communications Program Plan and additional review handouts in the "Other Resources" tab.

All dental office employees can now receive OSHA and HIPAA training online from the comfort of your home or office computer. The course is designed to start, pause and resume depending on the needs of the day-to-day office activities; the total time of the course is approximately two hours in duration.  The course will also meet the requirements for annual training on blood-borne pathogens.

The OSHA and HIPAA online course will satisfy dentists’ requirements for relicensure as well as earn them CE credit. A manual is available to download when logged in to the course and, when finished, the registered participant will be able to print a certificate of completion and a training record form for other participants.

This course can be viewed by the entire office. One participant must register, then upon successful completion of the course you will be able to print out a roster (download it from the "Other Resources" tab) and write in attendees’ names for course credit. Please contact your state Academy of General Dentistry if you would prefer individual certificates.

Upon purchase, you will have 45 days to complete the program for credit. You will still have access to the program after the 45 days, but will not be able to receive credit.
